	Eligibility Criteria for participation: This study is only open for participation in females Females, 18 years of age or over, whom have had no history of urologic symptoms or problems including recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI’s) Must have had continuous symptoms of IC/PBS for one year or more No history of pelvic pain or problems with any gynecologic pelvic pain issues such as yeast vaginitis, endometriosis, vulvodynia, vulvar vestibulitis, or dyspareunia Not currently being treated for or having had any history of any other urologic problem, such as bladder cancer, kidney stones, or radiation cystitis Overview of Study If eligible to participate, your study doctor will take a complete medical history. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire that will take approximately five minutes. After determining that you meet the requirements of this study, you will be given a urine specimen container with instructions on how to collect your urine at home. Once you have collected the sample, you will be asked to return it to your doctor’s office.
